Using Fareboom's Farecruncher & Flight Mapping Search

Hi, in today’s video we are going to show you some tips on how to save the most money on your International flight and plan your trip creatively while on a budget.

The Fareboom Flight Map feature lets you explore the best deals to anywhere in the world based on seasons. This way we help you plan your vacation to target the absolutely cheapest travel dates and help you adjust your destination for maximum savings.

We begin by selecting our departure city and departure month. We’ll select New York and September. Then we simply click Any where in the arrival city box. Within an instant the world’s lowest airfares are at our fingertips.

This map is built using millions of fares that Fareboom users search constantly. It is an excellent research tool to help you pick the cheapest travel dates by estimating your cost based on past user searches.

We plan to visit London anytime in Autumn, but preferably in September. Let’s zoom in to that part of the world to see our options. We see that the cheapest fare is to London for $853. Now let’s see if we can save even more if we expand our travel dates through Autumn. This covers a total of three months’ worth of fares. Looks like a November London deal is even better, since we can save more than $120 if we depart in November rather than in September.

If we are creative and have some time to hop around Europe we can now use the Flight Map to research fares to other cities. For London the obvious nearby choice is Paris, especially since both cities are linked with a high speed train that may be quite affordable. The fare to Paris is even cheaper than to London at only $724 for a November departure.

Many people don’t know that you can combine a visit to two cities for one low round trip fare. You can simply take one half of that London fare and combine it with half of the Paris fare to get your total round trip cost. Since both fares are under $800 this is what you can expect to pay in the end.

Now we have several options:
1.    One: Explore more fares to London using Fare Cruncher full month fare display. We do this by placing our mouse over London and then clicking More details.
2.    The second option is to go straight to up-to-date live search for the best London deals for the preselected cheapest travel dates. Remember that the fares on the map are best estimates based on millions of past user searches, so live search provides real time results.
3.    Finally, we can decide to take the best travel dates advice from Flight Map and build our own custom trip to London and returning from Paris. Simply check the cheapest departure and return dates, this being November 14th departure and November 26th return and then go back to Flight Search to build our own custom itinerary. Punch in our cities of New York, London and Paris, and select flexibility on departure dates for maximum savings.  Because we are flexible we will choose a November 26th return date to cover as many days as possible. Now let’s click to search and wait for results. Voilà and behold: our combined fare to London and returning from Paris costs just $865.

There is no better way to plan your trip with maximum savings but to use the Fareboom Flight Map.
